4.99 - The One with the cake : Episode III

4.98 - The One with the seating plan

Yep...less than a week. I think the hardest thing to do right now is the seating plan for the reception. You want to sit people with someone they know...but where do you put the odd ones? Like the friends that only you know? Somehow today I ended up with 4 people with no seats. But I think I figured it all out. We'll see...it's kinda like putting a puzzle together...

4.95 - The One with the rockstar

Ever see in movies or on TV where there's this rich guy who goes into a warehouse full of expensive items and buys everything? I've always wanted to do something like that...and it kinda happened the other day. I was at Pacific Mall on Saturday (an Asian mall in Toronto) picking up a few things for the wedding when I spotted the perfect groomsman's gifts. So I went to the vendor and asked how much the item was and if they had more. She directed me to another man who took me downstairs to the basement and lead me to a door. I assumed that it would be a small closet with some merchandise in it. But when he opened the door and turned on the lights, I was in shock. The room seemed like it went on forever and it was full of stuff. Think a treasure room or something like that. It was pretty impressive.

The man then showed me the different styles of the item I wanted and laid them out for me. I looked them over and said, "ya it looks good...I'll take them all." He looked up at me in surprise...and smiled. Yep...I felt like a rockstar.

4.94 - The One with the Wedding Favours

We've been working hard on the Wedding Favours for the last couple of days. My hands are hurting...but we've accomplished a lot. I think we've spent about 10 hours or so on them. Even had a Bourne marathon tonight...although I don't think I watched too much of it...it was on in the background. Anyways...here's a sneak peak of the favours...

It's getting down to crunch time...lots of stuff is getting done...lots of money is being spent...and the bank account is running dry real quick. I still can't believe how much a wedding costs...and it's for ONE day. My honeymoon is so much cheaper and its for an entire week...in a different part of the world. Craziness...

the wedding planning is going well. I finally finished my crazy Wedding Invitation project and they've been sent out in the mail. I'll post pics of them soon and you all will see how crazy this project really was. I promise you that it's an invitation that you've never seen before...well if you've seen it before...you'll know how ambitious it was. I'm pretty happy how it turned out...

4.52 - The One with the cake

Just a little update...we just found an apartment and we get it July 1st. It's located behind the mall so the convenience is great. Doesn't hurt that the grocery store is open 24/7. Wedding plans are going well. The production art for the wedding invitations is done and now there's just the printing and other minor details to be done. OH! and check out what the wedding cake will look like...

Well our wedding date has been set and all the planning is now in full tilt. Anyone want to donate to the "Naomi & Titus' Wedding Fund?" Weddings are such a ridiculous expensive thing to do and to have...

But I'm sure it's going to be one great party! We had Chris and Sophie come down last weekend to do our Engagement Photos and we've started to plan and design our invitations. I can't tell you how it's going to look but I'll tell you I've never seen a wedding invitation like it.

oh man....it's been day 5...and I'm already frustrated with my family. But it'll all go away right? RIGHT?!?!

in other news...the first ever The Office Convention in Scranton, Pa. this weekend. "There's no party like a Scranton party." Wish I could go...it sounds like fun
